Ronald P. Wheeler
Ron Wheeler is Chief Operating Officer of The Sembler Company and has been with the Company since 1997. As COO, Wheeler’s responsibilities include managing the financial and operating areas of the company including Investments, Finance & Accounting, Risk Management, HR, PR, Marketing and IT. In his previous role as Vice President of Investments, he oversaw the negotiation and closing of all sale, loan and other financial transactions. Prior to joining The Sembler Company, he worked in the area of commercial real estate finance for ten years with his last role being a Vice President of commercial real estate lending with First Union National Bank.
Wheeler graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and majored in Business Administration, specializing in Finance. He is on the Advisory Board and Executive Committee of the University of Florida’s Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies. He is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Risk and Insurance Management Society. Additionally, Wheeler is an active supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Association and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
