Greg Sembler

Greg S. Sembler is CEO of the The Sembler Company, one of the country’s leading shopping center development and management firms. The Sembler Company has developed over 100 major shopping center projects and over 140 freestanding retail stores since its inception in 1962.

Among Sembler’s many responsibilities, is the oversight and management director of the Leasing and Operation Departments. Under his direction, Leasing continues to achieve high marks for business acumen and Operations consistently and efficiently maintains all third party and Sembler-owned centers at the standard of excellence for which The Sembler Company is recognized.

The Sembler Company Puerto Rico Division was Sembler’s vision and he is responsible for the management and operations of its regional office in Caguas. His vision has helped to grow the company with many successful retail developments in Puerto Rico.

Additionally, Sembler led the expansion of the company into residential development, launching a new residential division in early 2006.

Sembler is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), a trade organization that promotes the shopping center industry as well as a member of the Florida Government Affairs Committee for the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Sembler plays an active role in local politics and believes in community involvement. He served as Chairman of the "Come Build It" campaign for Congregation B’nai Israel, St. Petersburg, Florida. He has also served on the Board of Menorah Center Nursing Home that has been awarded the Gold Seal of Excellence from Governor Jeb Bush.

A graduate from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania – 1983, he received a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Finance.

Sembler is married and has four children.
