Senior Vice President of Development Josh Beyer, P.E., oversees the company’s shopping center development activity in the southeastern United States. An experienced dealmaker and a creative problem solver, Josh is adept at managing the processes of real estate development. Involved with +3m sq. ft. of commercial space, he leads the firm’s development and redevelopment projects and has led 55+ retail and mixed-use projects from Florida to New York.
Before joining Sembler in 2002, Josh was a project manager/engineer for EMK Consultants of Florida, Inc. and a project manager/engineer for Greenville, South Carolina’s Freeland & Kauffman, Inc.
Josh is active with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), a past member of Goodwill-Suncoast Board of Directors, and was recognized as a Tampa Bay Business Journal “Up & Comer.” He is a board of directors member of Palma Sola Botanical Gardens and past chair and current board of directors member for Foundation for Dreams, Inc., which provides camp experiences for children with special needs or chronic illnesses.
Josh earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Clemson University and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Florida. He has two young adult children and loves spending time with his large family and all things Clemson.
