With Sembler since 2011, Serina Morison is Director of Leasing and is responsible for leasing new development projects, third-party properties, and Sembler‐owned legacy assets throughout the Southeast US.
She handles small shop leasing, backfills large vacancies, and negotiates outparcel ground leases while maintaining focus on tenant retention. Her knowledge of every market is crucial for her success and keeping her centers competitive in the market. With over 15 years in commercial real estate industry, Serina’s solid relationship with brokers, retailers and landlords equips her for success.
In her previous role as Market Research Manager, Serina worked with leasing, development and build to suit departments to generate market analysis. This includes site selection for partnered retailers and new grocery development, void analysis, merchandising plan, market study, and GIS mapping. Her most notable achievement was identifying a site for Walmart Neighborhood in North Port where Sembler developed in 2014. Her experience in market research further supports and propels her success in leasing.
Serina has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 2010 and is the 2024-2026 cohorts of ICSC Next Generation Leadership Network (NGLN). She is recognized as one of CoStar’s 2025 Power Brokers for Tampa/St. Petersburg.
Serina earned a dual degree with Bachelor of Science in Real Estate & Finance and Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, working on home projects, and playing recreational soccer.
