It was a beautiful day on Saturday at Vinoy Park for the 28th Annual Pet Walk event for SPCA Tampa Bay. The Sembler team enjoyed the day by listening to live music, participating in the walk, and visiting vendor booths. Their fellow pets enjoyed their day by participating in costume contests, agility courses, and even hanging out in the doggie water parks!
Each year, hundreds of walkers and their pets come together to raise funds to support the thousands of pets who find refuge at SPCA Tampa Bay. As the only non-profit, open-admission animal shelter in Pinellas County, SPCA Tampa Bay cares for more than 8,000 animals every year — using only their program revenue and money raised from events like this one. Yet every pet who comes to them gets food, shelter, vaccinations and medical care for as long as it takes to find them loving homes.
